Mr. Schmitt

Teacher Librarian, Grades K-5

Teaching Experience: This is my 7th year teaching. I've taught Special Education, Physical Education, and now Library!

Education: B.A. in Theology from Seattle Pacific University. Masters in Teaching from University of Washington.

Favorite Authors: Haruki Murakami, Jack London, Ken Wilber, and Jack Keruoac.

Favorite Illustrators: Kadir Nelson & Kazu Kibuishi.

Favorite Food: Pho, PCC deli, cheese and more cheese.

Fun Fact: On our property, we have a massive garden, a dozen cows, bees, chickens, dogs, and cats.

Teaching Experience: I started teaching in 2004. I have taught 3rd and 4th grade in the classroom setting and I am now teaching in the library!

Education: B.A. in Elementary Education From Northwest University; Masters in Technology, Curriculum, and Instruction from City University

Fun Fact: I have been to all 50 states, 39 countries, and 5 continents. I hope to one day go to all 7 continents!
